    Forward collision warning, lane keeping, auto braking and traffic sign recognition. These systems rely on multiple sensors working together. A windshield replacement shifts the camera. A bumper repair moves the radar. Suspension work changes the ride height. Any misalignment disables the whole suite. We bring the Hunter DAS 3000, built by Bosch. The system arrives in our custom 6×14 trailer.. We run a full diagnostic scan, identify every outofspec sensor, and realign each one to factory specifications. Your jobsite needs a level concrete pad and at least twenty feet of clear space ahead of the vehicle. We serve the Midlands of South Carolina.       A camera is a precision measuring device. It calculates distance by tracking how a target moves across its field of view. When a windshield gets replaced, the camera’s aim point shifts by fractions of a degree. That tiny error makes lane departure systems drift and emergency brakes fire too late. Unlike radar or sonar, cameras need specific lighting conditions to calibrate. Direct sunlight on the calibration board causes false readings. We use the Hunter DAS 3000 inside your shop or under cover. Your jobsite must provide shade or artificial light aimed at the target board. We serve the Midlands of South Carolina.         radar & lidar<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        Radar units sit behind bumpers and grilles. Lidar sensors are usually mounted near the windshield or front fascia. Both measure distance and closing speed to enable adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and collision avoidance. A radar unit knocked two degrees off center will still detect objects, but will report their location incorrectly. Your blind spot monitor might beep when the adjacent lane is empty. Your adaptive cruise could brake for a car two lanes over. Fixing this requires physical aim adjustment, not a software reset. We mount Hunter DAS 3000 targets at the exact heights and distances specified by Bosch. Your jobsite needs a level surface and a clear line of sight from each sensor to its target.           Sonar sensors work like echolocation. They emit an ultrasonic pulse and measure how long it takes for the echo to return. A misaligned sonar sensor still makes sound, but the echo arrives at the wrong time. Your parking assist may beep continuously when nothing is there, or stay silent when you are inches from a wall. Unlike cameras and radar, sonar does not need open space ahead. It requires a flat vertical surface directly behind or in front of each sensor. We use the Hunter DAS 3000 with a dedicated sonar target board placed exactly one meter from the bumper. Your jobsite must provide a clean, dry bumper surface and enough room to walk around the vehicle to place the target. We serve the Midlands of South Carolina. Mobile calibration is standard.
